CDOT Headquarters All elected official liaison activities are coordinated through CDOT’s Office of Policy & Government Relations.  This office is responsible for outreach efforts on behalf of the Transportation Commission and CDOT with elected officials at the federal, state, and local government levels. 

 

Specifically, the office provides strategic and analytical support to the Executive Director, Executive Management Team, and Transportation Commission in both transportation policy development and government relations.  The office also serves as a resource to elected officials and other external partners of CDOT to assist in explaining and understanding complex transportation financing, planning, and engineering practices.

 

In addition, the office is responsible for maintaining and updating CDOT’s internal Policy Directives, as adopted by the Transportation Commission, and Procedural Directives, as adopted by the Executive Director.
