Use of the 2011 Standard Specification Book is mandatory after May 03, 2011. For more information, contact CDOT's Standards and Specifications Unit. Use this section to access Colorado DOT's 2011 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and revisions thereto. Fuel Cost Adjustment
Asphalt Cement Cost Adjustment
Includes the crude oil prices to be used in calculating the Asphalt Cement Cost Adjustment resulting from changes in the price of crude oil. The oil prices after April 1st, 2013 are based on Flint Hills Resources' price for Western Canadian Select (WCS) @ Hardisty posted on their website. The oil prices prior to April 1st, 2013 are based on Cenovus' (formerly EnCana) price for Western Canadian Select @ Hardisty (stream/stream) posted on their website. All oil prices posted here are in American dollars per ton.

Working with Local Government

Governor Hickenlooper has issued an Executive Order directing state agencies to take specific steps to enhance relations with local government. Here is how CDOT is complying with the Executive Order.

When promulgating rules, CDOT routinely utilizes a software system developed by the Department of Local Affairs in coordination with the Governor's Office to notify local elected officials of rule making and request input on the rules.
