This holiday season, the Colorado Department of Transportation and Colorado State Patrol are partnering with MADD Colorado, RTD, the Colorado Licensed Beverage Association and MillerCoors to encourage people to make responsible decisions if celebrating by drinking alcohol.

Each year in Colorado, nearly 200 people are killed in alcohol-related crashes and 25,000 drivers are arrested for DUI. Don’t be a statistic. Use this website to plan ahead for your holiday party by designating a sober driver, finding a place to park your car overnight, and taking public transportation or a cab.

Free Rides on New Year’s Eve

It’s not too early to plan for New Year’s Eve parties. MillerCoors, is offering cab vouchers at participating restaurants and bars across the Front Range and RTD is offering FREE RIDES on New Year’s Eve!

Tie One On For Safety

CDOT has partnered with MADD Colorado on its annual Tie One On for Safety red ribbon campaign. Colorado drivers are encouraged to display a red ribbon on their vehicle or keychain as a pledge to be safe and sober drivers this holiday season.
