Winter Conference

ATTENTION: The annual CDOT Environmental Winter Conference will not take place this year due to fiscal constraints.

The 9th Annual 2009 Winter Environmental Conference was held February 24 – 26, 2009 at the Police Protective Association, 21st and Decatur in Denver CO. You can view the 2009 Conference Keynote Speech by Russell George, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Transportation here.

Each year the Colorado Department of Transportation sponsors the Winter Conference to provide an opportunity for everyone to learn more about the interface between transportation systems and the environment.

The 2009 Winter Environmental Conference reflected on CDOT's commitment to improving environmental compliance and being an environmental leader in Colorado. Sessions ranged from how to conduct historic resource clearances, to managing environmental compliance during construction.
