STAC

Statewide Transportation Advisory Committee (STAC) members provide advice to the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Transportation Commission on the needs of the transportation system in Colorado and review and comment on all regional transportation plans submitted by the transportation planning regions and/or CDOT. The STAC Bylaws provide additional information on the role and responsibilities of the STAC.

STAC members represent 15 metropolitan and rural Transportation Planning Regions (TPRs) throughout the state. Colorado has five metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) and 10 rural transportation planning regions (TPRs). There are also non-voting representatives from the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and the Ute Mountain Ute Indian Tribe in southwest Colorado.

Meetings are typically the Friday before Transportation Commission meetings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Colorado Department of Transportation headquarters office, 4201 E. Arkansas Ave., Denver, CO 80222.
