CDOT has hosted five public meetings and a public hearing since the start of the study. The project team has also attended numerous meetings with small groups, such as neighborhood and business organizations. Please visit the links below to learn more about these meetings. Public Meetings & HearingsOn Wednesday, July 22, 2009, CDOT held the final public meeting for the study: a public hearing at the Lakewood City Council Chambers to present the results of the US 6 and Wadsworth Environmental Assessment and Draft Section 4(f) Evaluation. During the hearing, the public was invited to provide formal input on the results of the study through written or verbal comments. A Noise Assessment and Mitigation meeting was held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Lakewood Cultural Center . Information about noise conditions, the CDOT noise analysis process, and locations of proposed new and reconstructed noise walls were presented and explained. Open House # 3 was held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 and Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Lakewood Cultural Center . Preferred alternatives for the interchange and Wadsworth Boulevard were presented and explained, along with preliminary estimates of environmental, transportation, and property impacts. Small Group MeetingsCDOT attended many meetings with various organizations in the area throughout the course of the project. CDOT also met with local school principals, businesses, and commercial property owners to discuss their needs and operations. A list of meetings attended is provided below.
