This project involves the resurfacing of the asphalt driving lanes to concrete for a half-mile portion of Grand Avenue (SH 82) between Sayre Park and 24th Street. Folder State Highway 82 Maroon Creek Bridge
State Highway 82 crosses the large Maroon Creek basin on the oldest bridge in service on the Colorado state highway system. Originally constructed as a railroad trestle bridge in 1888, the Maroon Creek Bridge was converted for highway use in 1929. The bridge is currently classified as needing replacement given that its sufficiency rating is now only 9 points out of 100. Keywords: Active Construction, State Highways

Folder US 40 Steamboat
The Colorado Department of Transportation is working on the resurface US 40 from just north of the 13th Street south to just past 3rd Street with concrete. This is the most heavily traveled section of US 40 in Northwest Colorado and it is several years overdue for resurfacing; additionally, for improved pedestrian and mass transit safety, new features are being installed with this project.
