4th Street Bridge

The existing 4th St. Bridge, structure number K-18-Z, has a Sufficiency Rating of 24 out of 100 and has become structurally deficient and functionally obsolete. Improvements will be made to enhance safety for motorists and pedestrians through new bridge construction and approach roadway modifications. State Highway 82 Maroon Creek Bridge

State Highway 82 crosses the large Maroon Creek basin on the oldest bridge in service on the Colorado state highway system. Originally constructed as a railroad trestle bridge in 1888, the Maroon Creek Bridge was converted for highway use in 1929.
