Overview
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) began a bridge replacement project on US 34 just east of Estes Park. The project will replace two structurally deficient bridges in the Big Thompson Canyon between mileposts 65.4 and 66.3. The bridges were originally constructed in 1937 and are the last steel truss bridges in the Big Thompson Canyon. SEMA Construction, Inc. is the contractor for this $3.8 million project scheduled to be complete by the end of May 2010. Document Actions |
Construction Alert
March 11th, around 8:30 p.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) reopened US 34 just east of Estes Park, four days earlier than planned.
