US 550 Environmental Assessment & Finding Of No Significant ImpactThe Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), prepared this Environmental Assessment (EA) of the potential environmental, social, and economic impacts of proposed improvements to US 550. The purpose of the project is to improve safety and meet projected demand for highway capacity between Durango, Colorado, and the New Mexico state line.
