CDOT’s environmental functions are responsible for assisting management in the development of appropriate environmental policy, procedures, programmatic agreements, and assisting the regions in environmental analyses.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is dedicated to identifying and addressing environmental issues.  CDOT's environmental functions are responsible for assisting the organization in developing environmental policy, procedures, programmatic agreements, and environmental data for use in the planning and project development processes, and in assisting the regions in environmental analyses.
