US 36 2012 Reevaluation & Appendices
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and CDOT have re-evaluated the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) in light of the new information discovered and developed since the Record of Decision (ROD) in order to determine if additional National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation is required. The re-evaluation analyzed both the changes in the environmental setting (new adjacent property development, new wetlands, and new hazardous materials sites, etc.), as well as changes to the proposed action and the effect those will have on various environmental resources. Based on the re-evaluation, FHWA and CDOT have concluded that the original environmental designation remains valid for the proposed action.
