Financial Management and Budget

The Office of Financial Management & Budget (OFMB) provides mission-critical fiscal information.  The Revenue Planning, Resource Allocation, Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), CDOT Annual Budget, Project and Cost Center Budgeting, Project Accounting and Fiscal Management, and Federal Program processes, including daily federal aid billings, obligation and authorization, and management of obligation limitation and apportionments are in SAP and managed and facilitated by OFMB.  Our office produces financial fiscal notes for all relevant proposed legislation.  OFMB provides strategic and analytical support to CDOT’s Senior Management Team and the Transportation Commission concerning all financial and budgetary planning issues.  Our office works closely with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and planning partners statewide.  For additional information, please contact our office at (303)757-9262.
