There are 43 titles in the C.R.S., which are periodically revised by the Colorado legislature. Title 42, Vehicles and Traffic, and Title 43, Transportation relate to CDOT. Colorado Revised Statutes are made available for public use by the Committee on Legal Services of the Colorado General Assembly.

The Secretary of State compiles and publishes the administrative rules of the executive agencies of the state of Colorado in the Code of Colorado Regulations. Rules and regulations related to transportation are numbered with the 600 series.
