August 26, 2010 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - JEFFERSON/CLEAR CREEK COUNTIES –The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has released the results of the first phase Feasibility Study for adding what has been called a "zipper lane or reversible lane" to relieve traffic congestion on I-70 in the mountains.

I-70 closure in Idaho Springs tonight

June 16, 2010 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - IDAHO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close Interstate 70 through Idaho Springs tonight to allow a fiber optic line to be installed under the highway.

Paving Project Resumes on Highway 119

June 15, 2010 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - GILPIN COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has started paving State Highway 119 again, north of Black Hawk. Work originally began in July 2009, but was suspended in November due to inclement weather.
