August 2, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - WELD COUNTY— Tomorrow, August 3rd, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance crews will be chip sealing the I-25 Frontage Road between State Highway (SH) 56 and SH 60 (Berthoud to Johnstown).

July 19, 2010 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER COUNTY – Tomorrow, July 20th and Wednesday, July 21st, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance crews will be patching a small portion of US 34 near Drake between mileposts 74 and 75.
News Item Johnny Olson Named Region Transportation Director for North/Northeast Colorado
June 30, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - NORTH/NORTHEAST COLORADO – Johnny Olson has been selected to service as the Region Transportation Director (RTD) for the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) Region 4. The region encompasses nine counties in north/northeast Colorado. Olson replaces former RTD, Bob Garcia, who recently retired.

News Item CDOT Completes Bridge Replacement Project on US 34 East of Estes Park
May 27, 2010 - PROJECT UPDATE - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER COUNTY - Today, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) completed a bridge replacement project on US 34 in the Big Thompson Canyon. The project replaced the bridges at mileposts 65.4 and 66.3 just east of Estes Park. Both structures were constructed in 1937 and were in poor condition.
News Item Rockfall Mitigation Work to Close US 34 Tomorrow
May 25, 2010 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER COUNTY - Starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow, May 26th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will completely close US 34 between Estes Park and Drake for rockfall mitigation work. Crews will be blasting rock near milepost 75, which is the location of the May 21st rockslide.

May 21, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER/WELD COUNTY- Yesterday, the Colorado Transportation Commission approved $20 million in funding for the I-25/State Highway (SH) 392 interchange reconstruction project.
News Item Pothole Repairs to Close Northbound I-25 Tonight
May 18, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER COUNTY - Tonight, May 18th, weather permitting, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close all lanes of northbound I-25 at State Highway (SH) 402 for pothole repairs. The closure will be in place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

News Item Paving to Cause Delays on US 36 Next Week
May 14, 2010 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - ESTES PARK - Next week, weather permitting, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance crews will pave two small sections of US 36 (Moraine Avenue) in Estes Park. The paving will require single-lane alternating traffic on US 36 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 18th through Thursday, May 20th.

May 13, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LOVELAND- Due to the recent inclement weather, the ramp from Crossroads Boulevard to northbound I-25 will now reopen around 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 15th rather than 5 p.m. today.

May 12, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - GREELEY, COLORADO - More than 100 Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance employees from across northeastern Colorado took part in comprehensive snow and ice managmenet equipment safety training in Greeley on May 11.

May 7, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LOVELAND- Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 10th and continuing until 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 13th, weather permitting, the ramp from Crossroads Boulevard to northbound I-25 will be completely closed as part of the ongoing construction project at this interchange.
News Item Culvert Repairs to Close State Highway 60 Near I-25 Tomorrow
April 27, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER/WELD COUNTY - Tomorrow, April 28th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will completely close State Highway (SH) 60 at milepost 2.5, which is just west of I-25, to replace a culvert.

April 22, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - DENVER, COLORADO - A $50 million project to widen I-25 in Weld County received a 2010 Colorado Contractors Association (CCA) and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Project Management Award during presentations in Milliken on April 20.

April 20, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - DENVER, COLORADO - A $1.5 million project to replace a structurally-deficient bridge on State Highway (SH) 52 north of Ft. Morgan received a 2010 Colorado Contractors Association (CCA) and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Project Management Award during presentations in Milliken on April 20.
News Item Ramp From Crossroads Boulevard to Southbound I-25 Now Open Following Ramp Construction
April 15, 2010 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LOVELAND- The ramp from Crossroads Boulevard to southbound I-25 is now open following a full closure of the ramp that started on Monday, April 12th in order to allow crews to construct the new on-ramp. The on-ramp will eventually tie into the new roundabouts being constructed on Crossroads Boulevard.

News Item Conduit Replacement Project Underway at the US 36/US 34 Business Intersection
March 31, 2010 - NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - ESTES PARK - This week, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) began a traffic signal upgrade project at the intersection of US 36 and US 34 Business (Moraine Avenue/ Elkhorn Avenue). The project will replace the existing traffic signal conduit, install a new signal cabinet and upgrade curb ramps.
